Founded by Kevin Tan and Philip Chiu, Technica RaceWire began as a team of two engineers looking to bring the best quality wiring harnesses to likeminded automotive enthusiasts.

Our mission is to provide simple solutions to a complicated problems. Calling on experience, expertise, key relationships, and continual improvement, Technica RaceWire is dedicated to providing products that balance quality, cost, and aesthetics.

PHILIP CHIU

Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Philip spent most of his life immersing himself in the thriving car culture.

Philip attended California State University of Fullerton with a background in mechanical engineering. He actively participated in CSUF’s SAE Formula Racing Team which offered me a wide range of design, build and test race cars. After that, Philip got involved in various companies relating with automotive and aerospace.

His core strengths are mechanical design, engineering management, and leadership.

KEVIN TAN

Co-Founder, Chief Operations Officer
Kevin has been obsessed with cars as early as he could remember. Whether it was reading about them in books, drawing them, or racing them in video games, his passion revolved around cars.

Kevin graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a Bachelor in Physics and started working for Rasant Products shortly after, where he learned about powertrain systems and building motorsport harnesses. Afterwards, he went on to become an R&D Engineer for Hyundai, specializing in charging systems development for electric vehicles.

Kevin’s core skills include testing & data acquisition, analysis, and vehicle systems engineering.

TREVOR WOODS

Sales and marketing director
Born and raised in Orange County, California, Trevor has been passionate about cars since he was born. With 6 years of automotive industry experience, Trevor has been involved with Porsche Motorsport North America, Luftgekuhlt, KW Suspension, Rasant Products, and more.

With an extensive background in the automotive industry, Trevor’s strengths lead to marketing, sales, brand-building customer relationship, and photography.
