Silverlake Projects' DBW intake system:

Silverlake Projects is proud to introduce its full Intake system to use in 964/993 your engines running a drive by wire (DBW) throttle body

The intake system includes:

  • 6 runners in anodized structural aluminum
  • 2 fuel rails in anodized structural aluminum
  • 2 GT3 style intake manifolds in glass-reinforced thermoplastic or carbon fiber
  • Intake T tube in glass-reinforced thermoplastic with an 82mm or 92mm DBW throttle body
  • Resonance flap or resonance flap delete tube in glass-reinforced thermoplastic with vacuum actuator
  • 6 high temperature silicon manifold to runner couplers 
  • 4 high temperature silicon manifold to T/resonance flap couplers 
  • TMAP sensor
  • Vacuum reservoir
  • All mounting fasteners in titanium alloy

Port size options: 40mm, 41.5mm, 42mm & 43mm.

Runner & fuel rail finish options: clear, black & gold anodized.

The full intake weighs around 5.5 kilograms or 12 lbs, as compared to 11.5 kilograms or 25.3 lbs for a stock 964 intake.

 

Why our system?

50% lighter than stock. Lighter than most systems given use of carbon fiber, thermoplastics, and titanium.

Direct mount of fuel rail to the runner for perfect injector press fit.

CNC machined PTFE inserts in between the cylinder head and the runner for a superior insulation from the heat from the cylinder heads, especially when in idle and street applications.

Custom nitrile O-rings in between the runner and the cylinder head, and the intake T and throttle body for a perfect seal

Silverlake’s precision-molded OEM+ silicone sleeves with a much higher temperature resistance than rubber, offering a perfect fit with the opposing components for better airflow, and an unmatched appearance.

All mounting fasteners in Tin coated titanium alloy, for reduced weight and un unbeatable appearance

Your choice between 82mm or 92mm drive by wire throttle bodies, the latter offering 25% more surface for high displacement high performance applications
